Iron, manganese and arsenic removal with special minerals
Using special catalytic minerals, we can reduce iron levels below 0.2 ppm and manganese levels below 0.05 ppm. In arsenic removal, values below 10 µg/L are obtained in accordance with WHO standards. Iron and manganese are naturally found dissolved in groundwater and precipitate by oxidizing when exposed to oxygen.
This gives water a bad taste, smell and color, and also causes staining on pipes and equipment. Watercoach catalytic oxidation filters provide rapid oxidation of iron and manganese on special mineral beds and filter the formed particles. Arsenic is a highly toxic element widely found in nature. Due to its carcinogenic properties, it must be kept under strict control in water sources.
Watercoach arsenic removal systems remove arsenite and arsenate from water with high-capacity adsorption and oxidation methods. One of the biggest advantages of our systems is that they do not require chemical regeneration. The special minerals used are cleaned only by periodic backwashing, which keeps operating costs at minimum level. Additionally, hydrogen sulfide, methane, free carbon dioxide and organic residues are also removed in our systems.
Watercoach iron, manganese and arsenic filters are manufactured with NSF and FDA approved materials. Human health is our priority and all our systems are fully compliant with world food and health norms. With automatic operation system, low operating cost, long mineral life and environmentally friendly solution features, our systems are used in drinking water treatment plants, well water treatment, industrial water treatment, municipal systems and agricultural irrigation areas.
