Project Description
Seawater taken from Red Sea is stored in 60 m³ raw water tank. Salts are removed 99.8% from seawater with mobile SWRO (seawater reverse osmosis) systems. Each of 2 parallel units has 300 m³/day capacity. Concentrate water (saline waste) is collected in 50 m³ tank and returned to sea. Energy consumption is minimized with high-pressure membrane technology and energy recovery system. Drinking water quality production is realized for oil field personnel. The system is fully mobile and can be transported to different locations.
